DayBlocks
DayBlocks is built with privacy in mind. This policy explains what data the app accesses and how it's used.
When you grant calendar permission, DayBlocks reads the following from your device's calendar database:
Calendar data is read directly from your device and used solely to display upcoming event countdowns inside the DayBlocks app and its home screen widget. Nothing is transmitted off your device as part of normal app operation.
DayBlocks uses Sentry to collect anonymized crash reports and diagnostic information. Before any report is sent, calendar event titles and other personal data are scrubbed from the payload. Sentry receives only technical information such as the error type, stack trace, device model, and iOS version — nothing that identifies you or your calendar content.
This data is used exclusively to find and fix bugs. It falls under Apple's "Crash Data" diagnostics category and is not linked to your identity.
You can revoke calendar access at any time by going to iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Calendars → DayBlocks and toggling it off. The app will continue to run without calendar access but will have nothing to display.
DayBlocks is not directed to children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from children.
If this policy changes, the updated date at the top of this page will reflect the revision. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
