Frequently asked questions

Why isn't my widget updating?

iOS controls when widgets refresh. DayBlocks requests an update every 15 minutes, but iOS may delay this based on battery and usage patterns. If your widget seems stuck, try removing it from your home screen and adding it back — this forces an immediate reload.

Why don't I see events more than 30 days out?

DayBlocks intentionally focuses on the next 30 days to keep the list tight and useful. Events further out are still in your calendar app — DayBlocks just doesn't surface them yet. This cap may be adjustable in a future version.

Can I add events directly in DayBlocks?

No — DayBlocks reads from your existing calendars but doesn't create or edit events. To add an event, use the built-in Calendar app (or any other calendar app), and it will appear in DayBlocks automatically.

Does DayBlocks work on iPad?

DayBlocks runs on iPad but is designed for iPhone. The layout may not make full use of the larger screen. An iPad-optimized layout is planned for a future update.

Is there an Android version?

Not yet. DayBlocks is iOS-only for now. An Android version may come in the future — no timeline to share yet.
